Information we collect

NameBiz is designed to collect as little as possible. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or payment details to use the generator.

• Details you type into the generator. When you request name ideas, the business description, industry, style, and target audience you provide are sent to our server so we can generate suggestions. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not sell it.
• Saved favorites. Names you "save" are kept temporarily in your browser for your current session only. They are not stored on our servers and are cleared when you reload or close the page.
• Standard technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to keep the Site secure and running.

How we use information

• To generate and display business-name ideas you request.
• To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
• To display advertising that helps keep the Site free (see below).

Third-party services we rely on

To provide NameBiz, we share limited information with trusted third parties only as needed to make features work:

• Anthropic — the AI provider that generates your name ideas. The details you enter into the generator are processed by Anthropic to produce suggestions.
• Google Public DNS — when the Site shows a quick "live site" indicator for a name's .com domain, your browser looks that domain up using Google's public DNS service.
• Namecheap — the "Check" links open Namecheap's website so you can verify domain availability. Namecheap's own privacy policy applies once you leave our Site.
• Vercel — our hosting provider, which serves the Site and runs its secure functions.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to display ads, which helps keep NameBiz free to use. Advertising uses cookies (small files stored on your device) to help serve and measure ads.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
